hospital appt news..
Well, I saw the Oncologist who passed me straight over to the Radiologist who is looking after me and he had a load of “answers” for me/us.
The long and the short of it all is probably best summed up by bulleting:
- If I didn’t have any treatment I’d be looking at weeks
- With treatment I should be looking at up to a year, that’s his optimistic end
- Yeah okay people some through it and live flipping years, it’s a bit like winning the Lottery so that’s not realy an option :p
For my radiotherapy appointments they are to lay on some transport right from my door to Southampton hospital, seeing as I am now not supposed to be driving (bummer!). H can get a lift too to come along to keep me company and put her mind at ease.
Yes it’s a bit of pants news but at least I know I’m looking at a year tops and can plan for it/live my life etc.
All for now, gotta go have some dinner and watch Ratatouille
