Photos of an average radiotherapy appointment..

I asked the radiographers today if they’d mind taking a couple of pictures which they were more than happy to do (click link below to see..):

I was a bit gutted they wouldn’t let me keep the mask, apparently they have done so for others but new policy is now to recycle them :/

    technology is impressive, though a bit gruesome looking.
    Like something out of “Silence of the Lambs” or “halloween”

    It was so tight I couldn’t lick my lips or move my jaw - had to be that way to make sure they only zapped the right bits but it was bloody uncomfortable. Thankfully it was only for 5 mins at a time so it was no stress.

    I did feel a little bit Jason-like to be honest, that’s why I wanted to get some photos, just for old time’s sake!
