Magic… moments…
Okay, I’m embarrassed to say it but yesterday I went out for my works’ Christmas meal and at a point in the early evening Alex, Tony and I went to Burger King for a spot of quality food. As we got up to leave, the effects of a few JD’s combined with my cunning current lack of ability to balance very well and I fell flat on my face right in the middle of BK ![]()
It was one of those moments that you look back on and just squeeze your eyes, hoping it didn’t actually happen - I was SOOOO embarassed. So I apologise again to Alex and Tony, again it wasn’t really a drink issue but more a balance thing, something I am acutely aware of at the best of times let alone when distracted by a few drinks. It is only going to get worse in itself though, something I am going to have to deal with..
Beside that, it was a cool meal, we went to ASK in Basingstoke for some festive pizza and then onto Lloyds for drinks (before we hit BK) - it was good to see everyone from work again, reminds me what “normal” life is all about and what I’m missing ![]()

Glad you enjoyed it. Something really played on my stomach and it still feels well dodgy!

Yes it was cool. My stomach was a little dodgy too this morning, must have been a dodgy slice of pizza and not the x amount of JD
Thank you (and your Dad obviously) for the lift home, a definite bonus. I still feel a little unsteady on my feet and it’s 2pm, maybe I’m just tired.. sat in bed fixing my old Thinkpads’ iffy wlan connection, it’s well flaky.

It’s Monday now and I still have a dodgy stomach from something. I blame the Spagbol!

Did you even have the spagbol..? That’s a lesson for us all not to have staple Italian foods at a Christmas lunch - where was the Turkey pizza?!?!

[…] I am finding myself pretty tired all the time now, I could probably sleep/stay in bed all day but that’s wasting the time I have left so I am trying not to. Unless I make sure I’m on top of my tablets (steroids and painkillers) my head hurts like a good’un and my lack of balance is there 100% of the time to - I’m having to use a walking stick all the time now to make sure I don’t fall over (again, read the previous post).
