About me

I am a 35 year old analyst programmer living in Basingstoke, UK. I live with my wife Hayley, our wonderful son Sam and cat Marbles.

We have had our fair share of problems over the past year or so - Sam has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (or a derivative of) and I had to have half of my left lung removed due to a cancerous mass.. the resulting chemotherapy wasn’t too nice. Also on 18th March 2007 I had a cerebral infarction (aka a stroke) but after ten days in hospital recovering I was okay. Right now I am looking to get back to work this coming Friday (11th May) and I am cool.
EDIT: had another couple of strokes, recovered okay but had to have a little bit of brain surgery to remove a tumour and the resulting mess from the strokes.. that was October ‘07 and now I’m at home chilling.. there are still a couple of tumours in my head which I’m waiting for some follow-up action on, but I’m still here and alive :)
